Iconic photos was possible in a situation where journalists and photographers was the only witness of truth in the society. If several individual with mobile phones pictured the same event, it’s more difficult to convey one truth or one side of the (hi)story. A third subjective glance is accomplished when mobilephones are manipulated in to historical pictures and into the hands of the subject of the event.
